Take Me to the Beach!

I just love, love, love the beach!!! Good to have spent a few days of my vacay outdoors, feel the white sands in my toes and soak in sea water.

And I’m now looking forward to Phuket trip with my friends - a dozen people flying to the island for a long weekend. But that won’t be too soon. So I’m still dreaming of island hopping to Phi Phi and Jame Bond Island. Yay!

It’s good to know that many are advocates of Green Architecture. Developers, architects and engineers prove that we need not compromise nature for design’s sake. Singapore presents their first eco-mall.

 My photoblog looks plain and simple. This blog posted with happy snaps (not sure if you agree) don’t really need fancy colorful page. I think it’s just fine but I need an extra nice header. hhmmm…. I’m running out of ideas. And my journey to do-your-blog-page-creatively starts…or have started before but I was unbelievably busy again.

I only remember dipping into Indonesia’s beach only at thigh level months ago. Well, we opt to swim in the pool. That was also one of the good trips with friends. It’s all fun. Thanks to Mike for the wondeful shots and captured moments!

So many things happening in every part of the world, recently was the killings in Maguindanao.

Let me publish reflection from Didache for 29 November, Sunday:

A dead body lying in a grassy area near Mall of Asia was found by a street sweeper. He was wearing short pants with no shirt on; he was hogtied. A gunshot wound was found on his body. His body was already decaying, an indication that he had been dead for several days.

He was in the prime of his life. He was 37, an executive of a company, and he had a promising career. But in a snap, his life ended in a violent death. Reports said that this man had been receving several death threats.

The question is, “Was he prepared when death knocked on his door?”
