"When we least expect it, life sets us a challenge to test our courage and willingness to change; at such a moment, there is no point in pretending that nothing has happened or in saying that we are not ready. The challenge will not wait. Life does not look back.” - Paulo Coelho

Don't even have a cig lit.

Random Pet-Peeves

September 26, 2007

1. Comparison - I hate it when I'm compared with other persons, that others are more talented, successful, 'more' blah blah!

2. Cheating - in a game or love or work or money. period!

3. My fave bands turned mainstream. Why does it have to be like that?!

4. People watching blockbuster flicks in theaters but seem to pay no attention. I have lots of experience. They just talk about the effects and shout their reactions. Do they really understand the movie?

5. Jeepneys waiting for passengers in every block, every corner and we call them 'paugat!' One reason: I'm not patient and I'm not the only one here on earth.

6. 'Kulit' salesladies following you to every corner of the store and ask what you want or what you're looking for.

7. People who tells me what to do! It annoys me!

8. Radio stations playing the same songs again and again and again…

9. People who always see the bad in others. They are the ones who say, 'you look old with your hair', you gained weight,  so on and so forth.

10. Girls who act sosyal, sooo friendly and think they can make all men love them. Get lost!

11. People who takes advantage of others.

One situation in my life: an ex-boss (he's an engineer) always said we should be happy of what the company did for us, e.g. paid us 'good' salaries, gave us work; and he uses 'God' always. Because God gave all of this. Yes, I believe in God and trust Him. But God doesn't say that every individual should take advantage of other's talents, abilities and not give them what they deserve. So stop using God's name if you don't even see God in others. Learn what is Just!

*That's all the things I can remember which pisses me off or annoys me or irritates me. :P

#4 - I couldn’t agree more. I saw Transformers, pitched my criticism of the movie to my friends, only to be met with a patronizing “you shouldn’t overanalyze, just sit back and En-JOYYYY!” reaction. Why thanks for the insights, I guess I should also do that with Son of the Masks and Van Damme movies.

#5 - I remember last Tuesday when I went home very pissed off. I left office at 5 (which is unusual, as I usually leave at 6) and I took the bus home. It wasn’t empty, but it wasn’t full. When it stopped at Greenhills, I fell asleep. And when I woke up, the bus was still at Greenhills. As in, GRABE, the driver spent an hour there just waiting to fill his bus! I ended up reaching home later than usual thanks to that jerk.
