November 22, 2007Why do I blog? So I have to think the top 5 reasons why I do this. I was tagged by Kris and I'm also willing to answer it. So I'll start from how I blog until the time I learned to love blogging.
1. Part of my work. It's almost a year that I've been working as a writer and part of this is to be familiar with blogs and blogging.
2. The SEO thing. So still part of work - number of viewers, driving traffic. I admit, it really feels good if people pays your site a visit, and better if they post comment and be constant lurkers and readers. I'm still not an SEO pro but hey, for the love of blogging!
3. Inspired with other people's blogs. I've read lots of blogs and known some bloggers. They have different stories; different approaches on what and how they blog. Most of them, the journal type. There are bloggers who blogs about their favorites, their interests, their careers. And most of them, selling their products and services and other things to offer.
4. Express myself. I'm done with my journal days and not the planner/organizer gal anymore, so this is my express-yourself niche. My interests, my favorites, what to do, what I think, what I've done, what I've read and what I listen to, what makes me curious…
5. And tell it to the world. Yes, why should I? But why shouldn't I? For the love of letting the world know who I am and what my journey in life should be (and what I want it to be). Ok, so this refers more on my new blog.
